CMF to Unveil Phone 2 Pro and New Buds Lineup on April 28

After a series of teasers, Nothing has officially confirmed the launch of the CMF Phone 2 Pro on April 28. This marks the second smartphone under the CMF sub-brand, following the debut of the original CMF Phone in September 2023.

The latest teaser showcases two large circles, one smaller grey circle, and an orange circle, likely hinting at a triple rear camera setup. The two larger sensors could be the main and ultra-wide cameras, while the smaller one might be for portraits. The orange circle is presumably the LED flash.

Another teaser image reveals a textured, tactile finish and a close-up of a sleek metallic corner with a visible screw, staying true to CMF’s signature customizable design — a concept first introduced with the CMF Phone 1.

Rumors suggest the Phone 2 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. It’s expected to retain the customizable back cover with screw fittings to support accessories like lanyards. The screen size is said to be around 6.3 inches, slightly smaller than the 6.67-inch display of the original Phone (1).

Alongside the smartphone, CMF will also launch three new audio products: the CMF Buds 2, CMF Buds 2a, and CMF Buds 2 Plus. While the Buds 2 succeed last year’s model, the 2a and 2 Plus are entirely new additions that will likely sit just below the CMF Buds Pro 2 in the lineup.

The launch event is set for 2 PM BST / 6:30 PM IST on April 28. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
