Primebook India Concludes FY2024–25 with ₹62 Cr ARR and 60,000+ Units Sold, Signaling Strong Market Traction and Execution Excellence

Primebook

Primebook, a pioneering full-stack tech brand in India, has closed FY2024–25 on a high note, achieving an Annual Revenue Run Rate (ARR) of ₹62 crore. With over 60,000 units sold, the company continues to solidify its position as a leader in cost-effective, Android-powered computing solutions purpose-built for learners, creators, coders, and early professionals.

A standout fourth quarter contributed ₹15.6 crore to the company’s topline, driven by increased demand, platform scale, and enhanced funnel performance. The company’s strong finish has positioned it well for continued scale, profitability, and margin expansion in the next fiscal year.

In FY2024–25, Primebook achieved significant milestones across operations, marketing, and product development. The brand’s Amazon Marketplace performance was a standout, with annual recurring revenue (ARR) scaling to over ₹12 crore within 12 months, reflecting growing consumer confidence in Primebook’s laptops. Operational excellence ensured that the return rate remained consistently low at 3–4%, underscoring strong post-sales satisfaction and healthy unit economics.

Marketing efficiency also reached new highs, with April 2025 marking the lowest customer acquisition cost (CAC) to date, driven by focused performance marketing, optimized content, and a refined demand funnel. Additionally, the average selling price (ASP) steadily increased through strategic product positioning and an enhanced perception of value. These achievements were complemented by an ongoing roadmap of product innovation, ensuring that Primebook remains competitive and future ready.

The Gen 2 series of Primebook products is due for launch, intended to offer dramatic improvements in speed, usability, and design to further elevate the user experience.

“FY2024–25 has been one for the records. The strong adoption of the product has validated our belief in the need for cost-effective and seamless computing, said Chitranshu Mahant, Co-founder and CEO of Primebook. “With 60,000+ laptops in the hands of learners and professionals across the country, along with a growing ecosystem around PrimeOS, we are keen to carry forth this momentum onto its next phase of growth.”

Aman Verma, CMO and Co-founder of Primebook, added, “This was a year in which numbers alone could not tell the story of growth; it was also a year in which the company deepened its engagement with the users. The present generation needs technology that is powerful, practical, and accessible. At Primebook, we have crafted a brand that stands for these very aspirations. With growth, we aim to provide not merely devices but full-stack experiences that are distinctively Indian and globally relevant.”

With Gen 2 coming up for launch, Primebook is gaining further traction for institutional sales and skill development partnerships, and hence is going to be quite a pace-setter for its mission in making laptops accessible, seamless, and aspirational to every young Indian.
