Xiaomi officially announces that the Redmi Pad 2 will launch in India on June 5, 2025. The tablet is being promoted with the tagline “Built For More,” and its Amazon landing page is now live, offering a glimpse of what users can expect.
Other teaser also hints and at a large battery and the multimedia experience. It also says that the table will be lighter and compact compared to a laptop. The teaser image also shows stylus support for the tablet.
The global teaser for the Redmi Pad 2 shows the tablet in two colours, 8MP rear camera, 3.5mm audio jack, and it also confirms that there will be a 4G model.
Another teaser for the standard Wi-Fi shows an additional Violet colour, in addition to Mint Green and Grey colours.
Based on listing in Europe, the tablet will pack an 11-inch 2.5K 90Hz screen with up to 600 nits peak brightness, MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra SoC, feature a 5MP front camera, quad speakers and a 9,000 mAh battery 18W charging.
The Redmi Pad 2 was also on listed on site in Europe for 199 Euros (USD 227 / Rs. 19,395 approx.) for the 4GB + 128GB Wi-Fi model and the Redmi Pad 2 4G 8GB + 256GB model was listed for 299 Euros (USD 261 / Rs. 22,320 approx.).
The Redmi Pad 2 will be sold on Amazon.in, Flipkart, mi.com and offline stores after the launch.
