German audio brand Sennheiser has launched the SoundProtex Plus hearing protection earplugs in India, marking its entry into the premium earplug and hearing safety segment. Priced at ₹2,990, the reusable high-fidelity earplugs are now available on the Sennheiser India website and Amazon India.
Unlike traditional foam earplugs, the SoundProtex Plus is engineered to reduce noise levels without distorting sound, making it suitable for concerts, festivals, motorsports, workspaces, and travel.
High-Fidelity Filters for Controlled Noise Reduction
The SoundProtex Plus features four interchangeable filters, allowing users to choose the level of attenuation based on the environment. Using Sennheiser’s membrane filter technology, the earplugs offer a flat attenuation profile, ensuring that low, mid, and high frequencies are reduced evenly — keeping music lifelike and speech clear.
Filter Options Include:

High Filter (SNR 20 dB): Best for loud concerts and motorsports.

Medium Filter (SNR 17 dB): Suitable for festivals, busy transport hubs, or gyms.

Comfort-Focused, Reusable Design
The SoundProtex Plus uses medical-grade TPE material to ensure long-term comfort and hygiene. The earplugs come with three ear tip sizes (S, M, L) and include a small ventilation channel that reduces in-ear pressure for extended wear.
Sennheiser has also included a compact storage pouch for carrying the earplugs and filters.
