Hisense HVAC Kicks off India Operations

Hisense HVAC is a company, part of Hisense group which is a large-scale electronic information industry group company. Hisense HVAC was established in 2003 and integrates technology development for commercial and residential central air conditioners, product manufacturing, marketing and service as a whole.

The company recently had a product launch event in Bangkok, Thailand, in the presence of key channel partners (Stocks, Sales and Service) from different parts of the country. Hisense took this moment as an opportunity to launch its smart and reliable HVAC solutions for the Indian market. This also marks the start of their operations in India.

Hisense HVAC aims to grow by steering the Indian HVAC industry into a new era of World Class Innovative Solutions.

To start its operations in India, Hisense HVAC has appointed Rakesh Chauhan as Director. He will be responsible for setting up and managing overall business operations in India and will lead Hisense HVAC’s march to attain leadership position in the Indian HVAC market. He is a veteran in the Indian air conditioning business with over 26 years of experience that incorporates establishing and leading air-conditioning brands and further creating value simultaneously for the brand and the customers alike. Throughout his career, Rakesh has held various senior management positions in the field of Sales, marketing and General Management with highly reputed air-conditioning companies. He has worked with brands like Carrier, Voltas and Fujitsu General (EGPL), and LG electronics.

On this big new, Rakesh Chauhan, Director, India, said, “This is a moment of pride for all of us, as we embark on a new journey. Indian market is an amazing one and I am sure, with Hisense hi-tech and smart technology, we are going to create a unique impression in the market. I am very excited to take up this new role and really looking forward to this new journey.”
