itel, India’s most trusted smartphone brand today announced the extension of the warranty period by 60 days for all its mobiles, both Smartphones and Feature phones. The extension will be applicable for the models whose warranty expires between April 15th to June 15th.

The warranty extension will be applicable once the user applies for the same on CarlCare Mobile Application before June 30th, 2021.

“The second wave of coronavirus imposing lockdown and movement restrictions has once again pushed us to stay indoors limiting consumer reach to products and services. To ensure consumer ease and satisfaction, itel being a responsible brand has decided to extend warranties of all its mobile phones by 60 days. In these trying times, the warranty extension will help itel by providing some respite to its consumers for a worry-free servicing experience. This is the next move from the brand to make life convenient for our consumers. We have recently launched itel it2192T Thermo Edition that comes with an in-built temperature sensor with a motive to enable consumers like frontline workers to monitor their temperature on the go with complete ease”, Mr. Arijeet Talapatra, CEO, TRANSSION India, said in a statement.

As a responsible technology brand, itel has taken this step as a gesture of good faith and to ensure their customers get an extended warranty period without paying any additional charge. The initiative will relieve itel users to worry about the warranty extension of their devices which cannot be availed due to the unfortunate scenario of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns in most parts of the country.
