The smartphone brand itel is all set to launch its new budget smartphone that will set the precedents for the segment with a mega 6,000 mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. Though, the unnamed smartphone is anticipated to be launched in coming few months, the phone is rumored to be introduced at an attractive sub-Rs 8,000 price point in India.
The upcoming smartphone in the affordable segment will have a 6.6-inch HD display. And, as previously mentioned, the phone will feature a 6,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging, making it the first device in this price segment to offer such a feature.
According to a recent survey by Counterpoint Research, itel has become the preferred brand among first-time smartphone buyers in the sub-Rs 8,000 category. It has emerged as the leader in the entry-level smartphone market.
The brand also had recently created a buzz by announcing Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan as its brand ambassador. With him onboard, itel intends to expand its brand reach across the markets with innovative and feature-rich products that appeal to the consumers.
