The increased duty on imports of finished products, has given a strong boost to local manufacturing & assembly in India. This move, has led to an encouraging response to domestic production. Currently many brands do not have the manufacturing set up in India, a duty leverage, inclines several TV manufacturers to look for trusted and reputed local partners with strong experience and expertise to meet their requirement. Videotex has been one of the oldest & largest contract manufacturer(ODM/OEM), and has strong interest in leveraging the new opportunity, with superior technology and infrastructure in manufacturing that maintains competitive standing in global markets.”

We further expect government to support in setting up component and display industry in India that will further give cost benefit to the manufacturers/brands and also open up export gates for India and become globally competitive, making India a Strong Manufacturing Hub.” he further adds.
