Xiaomi announced the much-anticipated successors to the Redmi Note line-up in the new Redmi Note 7 Pro. Apart from its other specifications the most surprising and killer feature about this device is its Sony 48MP camera .
For the first time ever in India, Xiaomi will be shipping a smartphone camera that will allow users to take 48MP photos with Redmi Note 7 Pro. Combining a top-of-the-line Sony IMX586 sensor and advanced signal processing of the Spectra 250L ISP. So practically  the Redmi Note 7 Pro is more than just a handy camera that fits any pocket.

Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 48MP + 5MP dual rear camera setup with PDAF, EIS and AI Portrait mode. At the front it has a 13MP front camera with AI Portrait mode.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a wide aperture of ƒ/1.79, and is able to produce images with high levels of detail. PDAF also ensures focusing is quick, and on point.


Combined with the sophisticated algorithms of MIUI Camera, Redmi Note 7 Pro users will be able to enjoy features such as live portraits, live studio portraits, and much more. A 5MP camera sensor works in tandem with the main 48MP sensor to compute depth information, in order to produce accurate portrait shots with a pleasing yet deep bokeh effect.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 Pro is equipped with AI scene detection capabilities and it can recognizes 33 categories, including 6 India specific scenes apart from various other categories like Environment, Scene, Plants and Lifestyle.

Another interesting feature that users will love is its specially-tuned Steady Handheld Night Photography mode  which will allows you to take great shots, even in the low-light conditions, and without any help of a tripod.
