ZTE India Recognized As ‘Great Place to Work’ for second consecutive year in 2021

ZTE India has been accredited as a ‘Great place to work’ in 2021. This is an internationally renowned title, with over 10,000 corporations from over 60 countries being assessed for this distinguished award each year. Great Place to Work Institute has certified ZTE Telecom India consecutively for the second time.

“We are proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work. This certification is a testament to our People-First ethos and our ongoing efforts to create a healthy and inclusive work environment for our employees,” said Ashoka Li, Chief Executive Officer, ZTE India. “ZTE India has always believed in encouraging employees to take pride in value creation and strive to create values for our customers. ZTE has a good balance of new and seasoned personnel, with the seniors acting as “hand holders” for the new ones.”

He further added, “We have won this award for the second year in a row, and our scores are significantly higher than the previous year. The credit for this goes to each employee for demonstrating a high degree of confidence in each other and the company amid various crises.”

ZTE India employs people across the country, advocating its cross-cultural environment, in which Indian and Chinese employees collaborate under the principle of “Co- Growing.”

The accolade follows ZTE India’s stellar work culture, which fosters an ecosystem of trust, high-performance culture and imbibes aspects of credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie among its employees. The company initiated multiple efforts to support like safety hygiene kits , Concentrators, Oxygen canisters, COVID-related medicines, and psychological counselling to employees and their families. They extended additional corona specific health insurance along with ongoing GMC policy covering family even parents or parent in laws.

The Great Place to Work Institute’s approach is acknowledged as robust and objective, and it is widely used in business, academia, and government organisations to identify great workplaces.
