Ather Energy, inaugurated its second Experience Centre – Ather Space, in Chinchwad, Pune. The expansion is driven by the strong consumer demand for the Ather 450X and 450 Plus electric scooters in the city. The newly launched Gen-3 of the flagship Ather 450X and 450 Plus will be available to test ride and purchase at Ather Space.
Ather Energy has seen a significant surge in demand in the state of Maharashtra, nearly 7X in the last 12 months, with a major share coming from Pune. The second retail outlet, which was opened in association with B.U.Bhandari, will allow customers to purchase the Ather 450X from a convenient location in the city. The new Ather Space is designed to educate customers about electric vehicles while providing a holistic experience in an interactive space. Ather Space is well equipped to provide a unique ownership experience along with complete service and support for owners. Consumers can book test ride slots on the company’s website before visiting the Experience Centre.

Ather Energy is one of the few OEMs that invests in charging infrastructure as well.The company currently has installed 18 fast charging points, Ather Grid in the city and plans to add more in the coming months to strengthen the charging network. Ather Energy also supports customers with the installation of home charging systems in their flats and buildings.
Ather Energy has grown its retail network throughout important cities in India, and now has 46 retail outlets in 38 cities. The company intends to expand to 100 cities with 150 Experience Centres by March 2023.
The new Ather Gen 3 electric scooters offer improved performance with a larger battery pack of 3.7 kWh, wider rear-view mirrors, wider tyres and an entirely new sidestep that has been designed to blend in smoothly with the scooter’s design. The Gen 3 of the 450X and 450 Plus come with a certified range of 146kms and an improved TrueRangeTM of 105 km and 85 km respectively, providing consumers with the proven performance of an Ather scooter, eliminating range anxiety.
The 450X Gen 3 is priced at INR 146,340 and the 450 Plus will be priced at INR 124,830, (ex-showroom) following the Fame-II revisions and state subsidies.
