boAt, India’s No. 1 audio wearable brand, today announced that its in-house platform-based ‘Nirvana Ion’ Bluetooth wireless earbuds are clocking an ARR (Annual Run Rate) of over INR 200 crores. This makes the ‘Nirvana Ion’ one of the most successful personal audio products (TWS) in India.

The boAt Nirvana Ion is a feature-rich product offering a great value proposition for Indian brands and consumers. It is the result of innovative design and approaches implemented by boAt Labs, who collaborated with worldwide technology partners, component suppliers, and value engineering while ensuring best-in-class feature. As part of the concept design and industrial engineering, it is achieved by ensuring products meet the design that is innovative, aesthetically appealing, and quality standards to reduce inefficiency.

At boAt Labs, an in-house R&D facility, a dedicated team of over 80+ engineers from diverse backgrounds worked towards addressing an underserved market and successfully developed indigenous TWS form factors such as Nirvana Ion and Airdopes Flex 454. boAt Labs took complete control on the in-house design and development of Hardware, Firmware, and App platforms with best-in-class interactive UI/UX design. In order to enhance the sound optimization and produce crystal bionic sound effects, the team developed and integrated the best personalized sound, spatial sound, and HiFi DSP.
