realme, officially introduced the realme GT 2 Series as part of its debut at the Mobile World Congress. As the most premium flagship line-up ever, the realme GT 2 series is a critical step forward for realme, breaking into the high-end market and bringing new surprises to millions of worldwide users with their innovative technologies and transformative designs. Embodying the spirit of “Greater Than You See”, the GT 2 Series not only pleases the eyes with a master design and premium display with the fastest CPU performance, but also addresses the aspects that are invisible – the relentless innovation pursuit behind the product.
Mr Madhav Sheth, VP of realme and President of realme International Business Group during his keynote speech said, “To go premium, we will invest more than 70% of the company’s R&D resources on exploring advanced technologies in display, fast charging and 5G-related performance to provide users with top-tier flagship experiences,” noting that it requires tremendous investment on tech innovation, user insights and brand building to strongly push into the high-end segment.
In order to provide users the experience of 5G products across Europe, realme has partnered with major European carriers including Vodafone, orange, and Deutsche Telecom, starting with the advanced GT 2 through Vodafone and Deutsche Telecom’s online and offline stores. Special early-bird offers and trendy pop-up store joint initiatives will also be tailored by realme, carriers and other partners to provide customers with unique and engaging experience.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered realme GT 2 Pro will be priced starting € 649, and the Snapdragon 888 powered realme GT 2 will start at € 449 in early-bird sales.
After debuting the realme GT 2 series in Europe at MWC, the premium flagship will be introduced across other markets such as India, Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America in the upcoming months.

The realme GT 2 Pro adopts the Super Reality display, which is built to deliver incredibly realistic visuals that feel rich, natural, and authentic, and provide an ultra-high-resolution display with a high refresh rate. As the world’s first 2K AMOLED flat display with LTPO 2.0 technology, the Super Reality display was created using a 6.7 inch E4 AMOLED with over 4.5 million pixels and a whopping 525 pixels per inch. This level of color depth can produce 1,024 shades of red, green, and blue each, adding up to an impressive 1.07 billion colors in total – that’s 64 times more color information than a typical 8-bit display, which can only produce about 16 million colors. The Super Reality display can reach a peak outdoor brightness of a massive 1,400 nits, making it one of the brightest in its class. It also features 10,240 individual levels of brightness that adjust automatically according to your surroundings for optimal power saving and a comfortable viewing experience.
With LTPO 2.0 technology, the Super Reality display can automatically adjust the refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz and everywhere in between, and see an improved battery life by 1.7 hours. Industry’s first bio-based polymer smartphone design in collaboration with Naoto Fukasawa
realme once again collaborated with world-renowned industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to create the industry’s first bio-based polymer design, which is based on the sustainable concept of paper art – in line with realme’s philosophy of sustainability. After 12 months of research with 63 prototypes, the final realme GT 2 Pro variants incorporate cutting-edge craftsmanship and a 0.1mm laser engraving process.
Certified by ISCC+, the rear shell of realme GT 2 Pro Master Edition is made of SABIC’s LNP ELCRIN bio-based copolymer material. As compared to fossil-based alternatives, this material offers similar performance, while providing two kilograms CO2 reduction per kilogram of LNP ELCRIN bio-based copolymer material. Moreover, the sources of SABIC’s bio-based materials are derived from biomass waste or residue that does not compete with the food chains, such as crude tall oil and hydrotreated vegetable oils.
The realme GT 2 Pro has also received the TCO 9.0 sustainability certification, which requires a socially-responsible manufacturing process for realme and all of its suppliers with over 40 sustainability performance indicators being checked. The percentage of plastic used in the phone’s packaging has also been reduced from 21.7% to as minimal as 0.3%.
