The 30th Convergence India Expo, India’s largest technology, telecom, and infrastructure expo, was held from March 27-29, 2023, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The three-day expo was a grand success with the participation of over 1000 brands and more than 100 startups, along with various government departments, public sector undertakings, and industry leaders who shared their expertise, knowledge, passion, and insights. The event was jointly organized by the Smart Cities Mission, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA), India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), and Exhibitions India Group (EIG).
The inaugural day of the event was graced by the presence of Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Government of India. The expo was a hub of activity, with approximately 1000 brands and 200 startups showcasing their products and services over a period of three days. The event attracted key dignitaries such as Pradeep Singh Kharola, Chairman and Managing Director ITPO and Ministry of Commerce & Industry, H.E. Karel Hirman, Minister of Economy Slovak Republic, V. Raghuandan, Secretary TRAI, Lt Gen Dr. SP Kochhar, and Arvind Bali, CEO, Telecom Sector Skill Council, among others.
The Convergence India Expo has become an unparalleled buyer-seller platform that offers a valuable opportunity to brand owners, manufacturers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), importers and exporters to network with corporate buyers, distributors, wholesalers, stockists, department stores, retailers, and end-users. With India being the world’s second-largest market for mobile phones, the expo had a strong focus on Mobile Devices, Accessories & Lifestyle Gadgets, enabling participants to bring cutting-edge technology, create a strong brand, and develop a robust distribution channel.
