Could you share the story behind Microdigit and its journey?

Microdigit, established in Saudi Arabia in 2012 as an Ashtel’s brand, initially focused on electronics, multimedia products, and IT accessories. Over time, we diversified and expanded our offerings, venturing into mobile accessories in 2015. Today, we cover a wide range of products, from consumer electronics to smart wearables, and our home appliances segment is renowned for its trusted value in the market.

Could you elaborate on your approach to “Make in India” and how it’s impacting your market presence?

“Make In India” has been a pivotal strategy for us. We’ve dedicated efforts to produce goods specifically for the Indian market while also exporting these locally manufactured products to GCC countries. This approach not only resonates with local consumers due to its tailored nature but also supports our broader presence in 17 countries. We pride ourselves on offering better quality-focused products, leveraging our sourcing expertise and a robust R&D division to ensure a wide range of high-quality SKUs.

How does Microdigit maintain its competitive stance within the market?

Our brand’s presence in 17 countries signifies our global reach and the trust consumers place in our products. This, coupled with our focus on superior quality, allows us to stand out in the competitive market. Our expertise in sourcing and a broad range of SKUs empower us to cater to diverse consumer needs. It’s this combination that sets us apart and reinforces our commitment to delivering top-notch products.

What are Microdigit’s plans for further growth in India?

We’ve already established a strong presence in South India and have ambitious plans for pan-India expansion by 2024-2025. Our focus lies in diversifying our product range within the audio segment and mobile accessories. We aim to introduce a wider array of innovative and high-quality products, ensuring that Microdigit becomes a household name across India. We aim to solidify our position as a leader in electronics, smart wearables, and mobile accessories, with a strong presence across India and other global markets. We’re committed to innovation, quality, and meeting the evolving needs of our customers. Our goal is to continually elevate the consumer experience and contribute to the tech landscape’s growth.
